This has to be one of the most sought after Beetle models
and no wonder, given the quality of workmanship. This Bandai is a beautiful
model of the real car and a superb toy. When the engine is switched on the
headlamps light up as does the engine, which has moving pistons and which gives
off a sound exactly like the real Beetle's flat four engine at tick over!
The batteries which power the lights and engine also
provide the power for the various movements of the car.
A retractable radio aerial and a sliding sunroof are also
fitted. With it's American export over-riders fitted to the shiny polished
bumpers this Beetle is a real jewel and a credit to the Japanese Toy Makers of
the 1960's.
