Scale 1/43 White Metal Hand Built By BROOKLIN MODELS, EnglandThe paint job on this model is non-original - I heartily disliked the colour which Brooklin had chosen so repainted the car to suit my own taste. The colour of a model can 'make or break it' and during the 1980's and 1990's, I felt that Brooklin invariably chose unexciting colours for their models - hence the respray. More recently, Brooklins have appeared in far more acceptable colours and the new company is making greater use of chromed parts which liven up their models and now put them at the top end of the white metal market.Ford's heavily sculpted '65 T-Bird could be specified with the old Sports Roadster Tonneau cover as fitted to this model. |
