Ford V8 Tudor Sedan 1946

This model represents the 1946 Ford Tudor Sedan  and is fitted with a friction motor. The 1946 Fords  were basically warmed over 1942 models.

The hard styrene plastic used for these toys is subject to warping. There is another, earlier version of this toy made by Penguin which is fitted with a "rubber band" motor. This blue Minic toy is in good condition with minimal warping but my Penguin version is made from a rather oily type of plastic which seems to weep, and needs to be regularly wiped clean - very strange!
