Note the special attention which has been given to the brightwork - the detail is superb.

Today's collectors are spoiled for choice with the wonderful models available from Danbury Mint and Franklin Mint. Each successive issue seems to get better.

Great detail is evident in the Banjo Steering Wheel, dashboard gauges, wiper motor and plated door and window winders .....

..... but just look at the same view of the Danbury Mint version.

Perfect in every respect! Look at the operating rumble seat, pin-striping on the body and spare wheel cover and a wooden bow on the cloth top.

The background for this picture is a page fom a 1936 French Matford Catalogue - at bottom right you can just make out a Coupe de Ville version peculiar to Matford.

I seriously doubt if any commercially available model car can get better than this. Just look at the wood grained dash and those dials - words fail me .....

A perfect miniature Y Block Flat Head. Hoses, plug leads, plugs, carburettor, - it's all there!

The hood is covered in real cloth while the bench seat is upholstered in fine grained leather.

The background used here is the font cover for a 1936 Catalogue issued by Ford Motor Company of India, with vehicles assembled in Canada!
