Bill Mitchell's beautiful 60 Special first saw the light of day in 1938 and was an immediate styling sensation - the 1941 model saw the theme refined, and motor manufacturers were turning out vehicles as late as the mid 1950's which still showed styling cues taken from the original 60 Special.
